The time is set aside exclusively for you. If you are unable to attend we ask you to give reasonable notice since there is often a waiting list for clients requesting earlier appointment. Where less than twenty four hours notice is given a cancellation fee may be charged. |

Private health insurance may provide a rebate for psychological services. You may now refer to your doctor under a Mental Health Careplan whereby a rebate from Medicare is $76.00 per session for six sessions. A maximum of twelve sessions in one year is permitted under this scheme. |

Medications? For many people cognitive behavioural therapy and other forms of counseling is sufficient to sort out problems. However there are times when a combination of medication and counseling will be of assistance. This should be discussed with your general practitioner. |
